Craving a warm, chocolatey breakfast that will keep you full for a long time? This chocolate oatcake is not only delicious and vegan, but also incredibly quick to prepare – in the oven or microwave!
📝 Ingredients (for 1 serving):

50 g delicate rolled oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp psyllium husks
-
½ tsp cinnamon
-
1 ripe banana 🍌

150 ml plant-based milk (e.g. oat or almond milk) 🥛

1 tsp maple syrup or agave nectar (optional for sweetness)

Toppings of your choice (e.g. berries, nut butter, cacao nibs) 🍓🥜
🥣 Preparation:

Mix the dry ingredients:
In a small bowl, thoroughly mix rolled oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, psyllium husks, and cinnamon. -
Stir in the wet ingredients:
Mash the banana with a fork. Add it to the oat mixture along with plant-based milk and maple syrup, and mix everything well. -

Let the dough stand for about 5-10 minutes so that it thickens. -
Bake or microwave:

In the oven: Place in an ovenproof dish and bake at 180 °C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 15–20 minutes.

In the microwave: Heat in a microwave-safe mug for 2-3 minutes at 800 W.
